Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Alface Hall in Lisbon, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings on-site. The restaurant's ambiance perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of Bairro Alto, renowned for its lively scene. For breakfast, I indulged in their simple yet satisfying toast, providing a light and energizing start to my day of exploration. The convenience of the hotel's gastronomic options meant I could easily venture into the nearby streets afterward, discovering local delights like Grapes & Bites, where I found excellent pairings for my favorite wines, and Mojito Compay Tasca Cubana, which offered a refreshing escape from the daytime heat. Although the dining experience was enjoyable in itself, it was the accessibility to local attractions that enhanced my stay. Having Marisqueira just steps away provided a chance to savor fresh seafood after a day of touring iconic spots like the picturesque Alfama. Alface Hall may have its bustling nightlife, but its culinary offerings and unique location made for a well-rounded experience that kept me engaged throughout my visit. I recommend this hotel to those who appreciate a blend of local culture and cuisine, as it enhances your overall Lisbon experience beyond the typical tourist path.
